A key factor in our success is our in-house technological expertise: our systems and interfaces enable dynamic connectivity and efficient distribution of travel products. We rely on established industry standards such as OTDS (Open Travel Data Standard) for structured and consistent presentation of travel content. For fast and reliable transmission of prices and availability, we use EDF, an XML-based format developed by Peakwork. Additionally, OTA interfaces (OpenTravel Alliance) ensure smooth system-to-system communication throughout the booking process.
This creates easy access to a constantly growing portfolio of products, which can be flexibly adapted to market and customer needs while maintaining attractive price-performance ratios. For our partners, this means more choice, faster processes, high-quality data, and improved planning reliability.

A further success factor is the strategic expansion of our accommodation portfolio through the integration of new bedbanks, such as World2Meet and DidaTravel. For modern, transparent, and user-friendly cruise booking, our new system “Cruise Compass” has been integrated into our direct sales platforms (e.g. hofer-reisen.at), further expanding our digital expertise in the cruise segment.
